Discover Far West Texas

Far West Texas is the unofficial designation given to the area in the 6 westernmost counties in Texas. It is sometimes referred to as the “high desert”, the Texas Mountain Trail Region or Big Bend Country. This area of Texas doesn’t get much press, but those that make the journey find an enchanting landscape with wide open skies, friendly people, and a lot to see and do.

 

Whether your motivation is to check out something you have heard a lot about, to stop in on your way through the area, or just escape for a while, the journey to Far West Texas is well worth the trip.
